Our Task force is committed to fair play and advancing through the ranks to be a top tier task force with the goal of eventually completing end game operations in a fun and friendly team environment.
Operations:
We are a fairly easy going group, but we do expect people to participate in operations. If you don't want to participate in operations, why did you join a task force? We expect a high level of participation, as we do ops every day. The more people that participate regularly, the higher level of ops that we will be able to have success with. Make sure to log in each and every day to collect your op rewards! And remember NO retreats, NO surrender!
* Everyone is expected to follow notes. If you feel another combination of troop or a different strategy could work better than what is in the notes, don't just "wing it". Communicate in task force chat what your thoughts are. Maybe you do in fact have an idea that the person who wrote the notes hadn't thought of, and it could be beneficial. However there is also the strong possibility that the officer/leader who wrote the notes had already considered that option and opted not to use that strategy for specific reasons. Communication is a huge part of being successful on high level operations.
* Always double check and make sure that you have full boats of troops before launching your attack, this should be common sense but it has been known to happen once in a while.
* NEW (5/1/2017) The Tank/Medic troop combination is now banned for use in operations. While high level "Tmed" can be utilized in lower level operations (Milk Run -> Stronghold) they no longer function well at the level of operations that we are doing.
* NEW (6/10/2017) The Leedo Rule - Large groups of power cells in the Massive Attack and Forlorn Hope bases have great strategic value, these cells NEED to be saved for specific hits, typically hits that require long AZ (all zooka) walks and require many shocks. Smashing large groups of these cells with no intent for their use is not just poor strategy its detrimental and hurts the following attacks that needed that extra GBE. If you see a large group of cells on an operation base, ask yourself, "Do I really need that extra GBE in my attack, or would it be better served for a core hit or taking out a group of defenses at the back of the map?." Keep in mind that these cells may be required for several hits so even if you do need to harvest some extra GBE for your attack, be mindful of what is there and only take what you really need.
*NEW (1/15/2017) Going forward - new members (in the task force less than a month) may be removed immediately if they miss a failed operation (and did not give any prior reasons or excuses as to why they would be unavailable). Senior members (in the task force longer than a month) will be given 24 hrs from the time the op finishes to provide the task force with a reason as to why they missed the op or they may be removed from the task force.
NEW (5/3/2017) It is expected that if we are doing Operation "Deep Cut" or a higher lvl operation that statue boost IS REQUIRED (minimum of three statues, this number will increase as required) unboosted attacks on these higher lvl operations provide little to no significant impact.
Expectations for Members
We do operations everyday, and we expect you to attack those operations everyday! Participation isn't optional! That being said we are a pretty cool and understanding group of guys; if you have real life issues or things going on in your life, we understand that! If you are for instance going away for the weekend, having a vacation, getting married, have medical issues, etc. just let us know ahead of time. If we know that 5, 10, or 15 people aren't going to be available to do an operation, that helps us plan accordingly so that we can pick an easier operation on those days so that we don't waste intel or anymore gold on attacks than is absolutely necessary. If you don't raise any issues or concerns, then we assume you are going to attack the op! Moving forward if you don't make it clear ahead of time and you miss an op you may get kicked from the task force.
* If the nature of you not being able to participate is of a personal nature and you would rather not say anything in the task force chat please message me here on the forums. I will keep any information you tell me completely confidential. If you feel that you really can't say the reason, just keep it brief, I don't expect you to divulge extremely personal or intimate information.
*NEW (7/25/2017) Level 50 is now a minimum TF requirement for entry. While I can certainly appreciate the interest in this TF by players below lvl 50, they simply cannot make a valuable enough contribution in operations or gathering intel at that level. If you wish to be a part of this TF and you are below level 50 please check out our sister TF "Soft Rock Miner" - #9LYP8CJ0 until such a time that you are able to join.
*NEW (8/2/2017) 8 Offensive statues are now required for both entry and being a member of this taskforce. This can be any combination of Troop Damage, Gunboat Energy, and Troop Health, however there should be a focus on Gunboat Energy, and Troop Damage as having very high Troop Health is very situational. An ideal composition is 4 TD/6 GBE, however 3 TD/6 GBE/1 TH is a very well rounded combination. If you are low on Power Powder a PSC MP is also a good choice to substitute. Ice statues are frowned upon as they have nothing to offer in operation attacks, however they for now aren't banned.
Expectations for Officers
Officers are under the same expectations as members. However being an officer it is also expected that you show more initiative in gaining intel and attacking in operations. Officers will be expected to start operations from time to time; as well as put up and change operation notes.
* While I have no issues with officers removing people from the task force that violate task force rules, most of the kicks will be done by the leadership and you are under no obligation to kick anyone.
* Officers should be boosting every op, while it's not a requirement it is an expectation. (While not boosting for an op may not get you demoted, if you are consistently not boosting expect a demotion)
Promotions:
Please don't expect to join the TF and immediately get a promotion. Promotions are earned. If you want to be considered for a promotion: attack ops every day with boosted statues, produce a high amount of intel consistently, be highly active in chat, follow OP notes and feel free to offer suggestions to optimize the attack, and most importantly follow all TF rules.
* It should be noted that I expect Officers to be leaders. Operation attacks should always start with full boats and a proper selection of troops. Attacks should regularly show good strategy and initiative. If I see potential Officers consistently looking for the "Cherries" and only participating minimally this makes my decision for promotion pretty easy.
*NEW (5/26/2017) A while back I had decided to do promotions based almost entirely on operation activity and based upon intel earned. This however I felt just wasn't working. It was was simply too difficult to track and there were a number of people who easily met those requirements however were never active in chat. I feel being active in chat is just as important as any other consideration. If you have been in the TF a long time and have always attacked ops and have excellent intel production and are wondering why you aren't getting a promotion. This would most likely be the reason why. I have in the past demoted officers back down to members only for the fact that they never communicated in chat. How can you lead if you can't speak?
Demotions:
Every member who gets promoted gets it for being highly active and participating in ops. If an officer misses an op without giving previous notice they should expect to be demoted. Also any officer who does not meet weekly intel requirements will be demoted. We expect our officers to be on a lot & active! We also do not waste intel on sabotage, if you become an officer and you want to know what it does, ask. If you use it, expect to be immediately demoted.
NEW (5/26/2017) Note: as of the last update intel has become a much less rare commodity, recently we have been maxing out our intel regularly. Should our intel become maxed (1000) any intel earned by members won't be given the proper credit under the stats. Therefore we WILL use sabotage to reduce intel to under 1000 when it is required. This function should however primarily be performed by TF leaders, officers wanting to use sabotage should communicate with a leader first. If a leader isn't online then an officer may use sabotage discreetly, do not use sabotage more than a handful of times and always use it on the bases where it would have the most impact.
Removal:
We can't state this fact enough: We want active people! The sole and only reason to be part of a task force is to participate in operations. If you don't want to participate in operations, follow operation base notes, and produce the minimum weekly intel requirement, feel free to go solo and leave.
Statues
No green (Life) statues! As of October 1, 2016 no green statues will be permitted in the task force, if you don't like this and want to continue on with your turtle ways, find a task force for turtles that do 1 or 2 ops a week (there are many) you will be much happier there. After October 1st, any new member that joins "may" be given up to one week to change statues. This allowance will be totally discretionary and up to what the officers/leaders feel is reasonable in the circumstance.
Conduct and Behavior
While friendly banter and joking around is encouraged, we do not allow hate speech, racism, personal attacks, or any other derogatory comments directed toward any members. We consider ourselves an adult task force and it is expected that our members act in a respectful manner towards one another. Any serious violation of this will lead to you being reported and immediately kicked from the TF.
Intel Requirement
ALL members are required to get 40 Intel per week. New members joining will be pro rated to the day they joined the task force. Any officer who fails to get 40 intel in a week will be demoted to member. Any member who fails to get 25 intel in a week and falls below 40 in weekly avg intel will be removed. Historical participation may be taken into consideration for members who are short intel for the week but have had very good intel generation in the past and good participation in operations. While we have a 40 minimum intel requirement, that shouldn't be your goal, I would like to see every member trying to produce the highest amount of intel that they can achieve. Intel is very easy to get and anyone lvl 40+ should be able to get 40 with ease. If you can't seem to ever get 40+ a week there is a guide on this forum that can help you out, or ask in chat, we have many very skilled and knowledgeable members that can give you tips!
NOTE(S):
* If we feel that it just isn't working out, maybe it's because of immaturity, maybe we feel you aren't contributing enough on a regular basis or just trying to do the bare minimum; you may be removed. The leadership needs to do what is in the best interests for all members of the task force and that may mean removing inactive or semi inactive members in favor of recruiting very active members who want to participate.
* While we currently don't have any rules regarding Blue (Ice) Statues we suggest that you don't have any more than 2 placed. There simply isn't a need for any more than 2 Blue statues unless you are planning a leader board push. Any more than 2 can severely effect your offensive output, generally making your game progress much slower, and also making the game more difficult for yourself.
